Financial Administrator

Bryan Harris

Bryan has been a therapist since 2015. His favorite modality is Swedish Massage. Sometimes the basics are more than enough. What got him passionate about massage was seeing so many people not live up to their full potential and do everything they were created to because their bodies aren’t being taken care of and Bryan helping them do that in turn helps the world to be a better place!

Secretary

Alphonso Burrell

As a former United States Marine, Alphonso has an organized, disciplined approach to all aspects of his life which includes his application of bodywork.  A graduate of the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage, Alphonso studied many different modalities.  Licensed and works in Washington, DC and previously Rehoboth Beach, DE.

His fondness for Swedish massage strokes motivated him to explore ways to apply those strokes in unique combination to maximize the overall relaxation of his clients.   His bodywork interest also includes Deep Swedish, working with athletes and muscle energy (MET) work to help relax and lengthen muscles. Alphonso is currently studying aromatherapy with plans to eventually incorporate those techniques into his practice.

I specialize in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Chair Massage, Prenatal, Feet Reflexology, Hot Stone, Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping and Chakra Balancing Energy Work. I currently work part-time at Equinox Anthem DC Spa. My private practice is totally mobile. I enjoy providing my clients with alternative treatments for stress relief and therapeutic care through my massage and energy work.

Delegate

Pamela Moyer LMT (preferred pronouns: she, her)

Pamela Moyer has been as a licensed massage therapist in DC since 2004. This was a career change for her, transitioning from the corporate and non-profit world, doing communications work. She enjoys helping people and providing a much needed service to the community through her massage skills at her group practice, Eye Street Massage Therapy. She incorporates a variety of techniques in her treatments: Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular, myofascial therapy, stretching, and more. She often finds herself working with clients with stubborn or chronic conditions. Her goal is to assess possible causes for the pain, provide relief, and to help the client with self-care techniques so that they can maintain their body in a more balanced state. Pam enjoys promoting overall health and well-being, and believes that a healthy mind, body and spirit are complementary. She enjoys spending her spare time with friends, her beloved hound, and in nature or at cultural events. In her role as a board member of the AMTA-DC Chapter, she hopes to build relationships with other practitioners, provide support to the profession and strengthen the massage community in the DMV through collaboration with others.
